E o estudo continua no sentido de os nossos alunos do 6.° ano, em Ciências Naturais, saberem como agir se estiverem perante um Acidente Vascular Cerebral.

Estima-se que ocorram 25 mil novos acidentes vasculares cerebrais por ano em Portugal, o que se traduz em, aproximadamente, 70 novos casos por dia. Destes 25 mil casos, 10% virão a falecer na sequência do acidente vascular cerebral e 35% ficarão dependentes de terceiros para as suas atividades básicas: comer, vestir-se ou tomar banho.

It is estimated that 25,000 new strokes occur every year in Portugal, which translates into approximately 70 new cases a day. Of these 25,000 cases, 10% will die as a result of the stroke and 35% will be dependent on others for their basic activities: eating, dressing or bathing.
